Treats Magazine Halloween Party 2014

As expected, Halloween in Hollywood this year was an additional significant production, specially for the Treats! Magazine celebration that occurred last Friday at the historic Los Angeles Theater in Downtown LA. The star-studded event was also in partnership with Utsinger Entertainment, and sponsored by Absolut Elyx and Curbstand, occupied all three floors of the lux and probably-haunted theater, all of which have been more than-flowing with costumed guests and celebrities.
Like in an old fashioned film, the event name was prominently displayed on the bright white over-hang outdoors of the theater, which sheltered the extended line of guests waiting to get in from the cliché rainy weather on Halloween evening. Seriously even though, the A single night it rains in LA… Once inside, we had been greeted by The Jingle Punks Hipster Orchestra playing spooky classical music atop the foyer stage.
Producing our way into the party, we discovered some familiar faces socializing close to one particular of the three bars, while other people took a small longer to recognize via the makeup and costumes. With drinks in hand, we ventured down the wide, center banister that led to the middle floor, where there was a compact location providing light food and snacks (not that everyone eats at a party like this), and beyond it, a ballroom that housed a white-glowing bar that stretched across the length of the area. Under no circumstances having to wait in line for a drink was a big bonus.
But it was the bottom floor that all the buzz was about. I can’t make a decision if I was more impressed with the enormous bathroom that looked like it belonged in a castle, or Boy George‘s DJing expertise. There had been actually fifty stalls, every with it’s personal decatantly decorated walls, and doors that in fact fully close. Just before it, was a significant circular powder room, with princess-hunting vanities lining the complete issue, and a mixture of girls and guys checking on their makeup. That might not sound thrilling for you, but for someone in full facial lion makeup, a skimpy costume that kept riding up in all the wrong places, and a bladder the size of an infant’s, I was in Halloween celebration heaven.
I guess I ought to attempt to redeem my bathroom banter by speaking about what celebrities had been there. For the most component, it was the usual party-going suspects, like Leonardo DiCaprio, Zac Efron, Paris Hilton, and Gerard Butler, but also in attendance was Ryan Seacrest, Robin Thicke, and a pretty sexy Kellan Lutz who dressed up as Snake Plisskin (totally had to Google that).
But it’s not like we were sitting there chatting it up with any of them or something. They’re type of just there, like endagered animals you see on safari pretty to appear at, but you leave them alone. It’s type of just like, “Oh, there’s Leo…let’s go to the bar!” But I guess that’s also what living in Hollywood does to you.
The true entertaining is seeing all of your buddies at a fabulous celebration, in particular when costumes are involved and there’s no bathroom or bar line! I was slightly concerned when my telephone died and I couldn’t obtain the close friends I came with, or more importantly, have access to Uber, but fortunately, all of West Hollywood was Downtown and heading back to the Hills exactly where a couple of of the celebs were obtaining right after parties. Just your common Halloween in Hollywood!
