Gifts For Women They’ll Actually Use & Love
Shopping for a girl that loves to travel can be difficult because all they want to do is travel, trust me I know, I’m one of them! If you can splurge for a plane ticket anywhere in the world I’d be ecstatic BUT the reality is that’s not going to happen.
I’ve put together a list of travel gifts for her based on products I own and use. I am not referring ANY products that I don’t own or anything that will break the bank. Adam and I quit our jobs 6.5 years ago and have been traveling ever since we’ve gone through our fair share of travel gear and if it’s not one of my favorites it’s not on this list.
Travel Gifts For Her That She’ll Actually Love
Travel Gifts Under $25
Travel Hairdryer
I’ve learned the hard way that you can’t just use your normal hairdryer in all countries. You need a travel hair dryer that has different voltage settings. I still remember blowing out the power in the entire Airbnb in Mexico because of my hairdryer, oops! Make sure to get a travel hair dryer with a cool function if you travel with a pool floatie so you can use it to blow it up.
Price $24
Floatie
If you’ve been following us for a while you’ve noticed we travel with an 8-foot unicorn, her name is Ursula. Pool floaties make great photos and they are fun to lounge around on in the pool or the ocean. There are tons of different floaties from unicorns, pineapples, flamingos, etc. Make sure to also have a travel hair dryer that has the cool function, this is the easiest way to blow up pool floaties.
Price $10-40
Travel & Leisure Subscription
Everyone needs a little wanderlust and a Travel & Leisure subscription does just that. I like seeing both new destinations I’d love to travel too and reading about places I’ve already been to.

Tom’s
Cute comfortable shoes are always a great travel gift for women. I have walked over 10 miles in them exploring Bangkok and even hiked in them. They have tons of fun designs and travel themed shoes, I got fun tropical leaf shoes right before traveling to Florida. I want these flamingo Toms, really hoping my family reads this list. Tom’s often has pairs on sales and promo codes for special pricing.
Price $24-$60
Flying Tomato dresses
Dresses that make a photo pop are exactly what Flying Tomato dresses do. I’m going to guess I have 15+ in my closet and I’m always looking for more. The biggest issue with Flying Tomato is finding the dresses, I have the best luck on Amazon or Tjmaxx.

Cooler Bag
A fun & cute cooler bag is a travel gift for women that are beach lovers. I have the watermelon-shaped soft-sided cooler, it works perfectly for a little road trip or beach day. It’s also a cute addition to photos.

Quay sunglasses
Don’t buy cheap sunglasses! They hurt and they usually only last a few weeks. I am a sunglass addict and use to always buy $100+ pairs but then I discovered Quay sunglasses. They are super cute, don’t break the bank, and are comfortable. They always seem to have a sale going on, right now they have a big Black Friday Sale so I just ordered 4 more pairs (don’t tell Adam). I love ‘My Girl’, I have 3 pairs of this style alone.
Price $19-65
rxBars
Travel days can go south if you’re left hungry, hangry is a real thing when traveling. I always have a few rxBars in my purse. Each bar has 12 grams of protein and only 210 calories with only 6-8 ingredients and no added sugars/gluten/soy/dairy/GMO. My favorite flavor is the mixed berry, but all flavors are good and they have seasonal flavors too.
Price $20-25 per 12 pack
Powerbank
There isn’t a day that goes by that I don’t use my external battery charger (power bank). They are a must for everyday life and traveling. Charge your phone on a cross-country bus or while you’re soaking up the sun on beaches in Belize. You can get super cheap power banks but they will only charge your phone maybe twice, I like the Anker brand ones. This power bank charges an iPhone 10 times on one single charge, to me that’s worth the extra money.

Go Summersalt Swimsuit
Hands down the best swimsuit, I have 4 Go Summersalt swimsuits and I plan on getting more (hint mom). Their slogan is “designer swimwear without the designer price tag” which is spot on. Swimsuits are UPF 50+ and 5 times stronger than a regular swimsuit.
If you’re looking for a travel gift for a woman that loves the beach you can’t go wrong with a swimsuit. They even have a “Home Try-On Pack” where you order as many swimsuits as you want and try them in your home and send back whatever you don’t want.

GoPro Dome
Underwater photos are fun but the over-under split shots are some of the best. In order to get these, you’ll need a GoPro Dome. It’s one of our favorite GoPro accessories, we’ve put together a photo guide to achieving the GoPro dome shots. We have this GoPro Dome and love it.

Pitusa Dress
I’m obsessed with Pitusa dresses they are great as beach coverups and nights out in a tropical place. They are sure to get compliments. Don’t worry about buying the right size, they are all one size fits all. I have 6 Pitusa dresses and recently wore a gorgeous white one for our vow renewal in Aruba followed by our mini Aruba honeymoon.

GoPro 3 in 1
If you’re looking for a travel gift for a GoPro Girl the GoPro 3 in 1 is my favorite and most used GoPro accessory. It can be used as a camera grip, extension arm, or a tripod. It’s also waterproof so I use it while snorkeling too.

North Face Vest
I’ve been traveling around with my grey North Face vest for 4 years. Yes, it costs more than other brands but it’s worth it. It’s great for traveling as it packs down easily into nothing and it’s great to throw on as an extra layer.

Beach days or even pool days need some tunes. I love my UE WONDERBOOM portable speaker, it’s super small and it’s waterproof. There are tons of waterproof speakers on the market pick one that fits your budget and needs. For the price, the UE WONDERBOOM is worth it, 10 hours of battery life, waterproof, shockproof, and it sounds great.

Lualoha Turkish Towel
If you haven’t realized by now I am a total beach lover. There have been many times we’re traveling and we don’t want to bring the bulky hotel towels out with us for the day. I always have my Lualoha Turkish Towel with me, you never know when you’ll have an impromptu beach day.

DJI Mavic Pro
Traveling with a drone is amazing, the photos captured are amazing. We have been traveling with a drone for over 3 years, and when they first came out they were super bulky and made traveling a pain. BUT now the DJI Mavic can easily fit in a cute camera bag or even a purse. Check out our travel drone guide to see which drone is good for you. I suggest the DJI Mavic for the size, price, and quality.

Priority Pass
If you’re buying for a travel gift for her that doesn’t like “stuff” a priority pass is perfect. Layovers suck but they suck less at an airport lounge pass. We have had our Priority Pass for a year now and can’t imagine our lives without it.
With a Priority Pass, there are over 1,000 airport lounges in the world we have access too. Airport lounges have free wifi, free food, free drinks, some with showers, comfortable places to sit, and 80% have free alcohol.

Wheeled Osprey Backpack
The best travel bag on the market! We purchased our wheeled Osprey backpack in 2014 and have been traveling with it ever since. This bag can handle all modes of transportation and situations. Yes, it’s there are cheaper bags on the market, but it’s worth every penny.
It has backpack straps that come out so you can wear it as a backpack if needed, which we have never needed too BUT if we were island hopping in Thailand they would be a must on the ferries. Since we do a good amount of luxury travel it’s nice the bag doesn’t look like a backpack. We paid $300+ for ours but see they are much cheaper now, we are getting a second one (this one) for $240 for a 130L size.

World Nomads Travel Insurance
Every traveler should have travel insurance, you never know when you’ll need it. World Nomads covers things from trip cancellation, medical evacuation, lost bags, theft, and much more.
We’ve had to use ours when some camera equipment got damaged by sand while on safari and when I got robbed by a snatch thief in Kuala Lumpur. You pay for just the dates you need no matter if your trip is a week or two all the way up to a year-long coverage plan.
Price: Varies by trip length & coverage
