10. Amsterdam, The Netherlands

One can find blooming cherry trees all around the Dutch capital, but it is especially dense with them in the Amsterdamse Bos. The English park is about three times the size of Central Park! There is this lane of sakuras that makes it a really romantic place to visit in spring once in the area.

7. Stockholm, Sweden

Once in Stockholm visit Kungsträdgården park. It is one of the most popular places in the capital, where people meet, enjoy a day out and outdoor activities. In summer there are a lot of various cultural events and concerts taking place, in winter a skating rink attracts guests and locals, while in spring thousands of cherry blossoms fills the air with joy.

6. Jacarandas Walk, Pretoria, South Africa

The tropical purple trees, native to South America, were brought here over 100 years ago. It is estimated that there are around 70 000 Jacaranda trees in one of the capital cities! Therefore Pretoria’s nickname is Jacaranda City.

Two best places to see the cherry blossoms in New York are Brooklyn Botanical Garden and Central Park, of course, although there are sakuras all around the city. 2. Changwon City, South Korea

The Jinhae Gunhangje Cherry Blossom Festival is the largest one in the country! It even features a military orchestra marching and playing through the streets, therefore it is also known as the Military Parade. The festival is being held since 1952 and it still attracts thousands of locals and guests who admire the blooming trees all around the town.

The festival takes place from April 1 to April 10.
